Headstart Sports Coaching Mission Statement

Headstart Sports Coaching aims to deliver a grass roots Sports Coaching Programs to National Schools, Clubs & Communities within the North Westmeath & Longford area, which will form the foundation from which players and sports people of the future will emerge. Headstart Sports Coaching is committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle through the provision of a range of financially viable sporting activities and programs within the Community.

How we will support this

Raising Standards: Supporting schools to review and develop their PE and Sport programs and to encourage the development of more physically active children

Establish Competitions: Including a range of team and individual sports, a variety of competition formats to increase player retention and to raise awareness and support player progression

School to Community: Building and supporting the links and pathways between National Schools and local Sports Clubs

Out-of-school-hours Sports Activities: Developing out-of-school Sports Programs to provide pathways to access quality sporting opportunities that are welcoming and within a safe and child-friendly environment.
